obama administration e-mails cnn obtained from before the healthcare.gov launch. it suggests the e-mails that they're individuals in the government and with one of the contractors concerned about some fundamental promises the administration made particularly about securing people's private health information. in one e-mail, dated on september 10th, george laneris from cms, centers for medicare and medicaid services indicates the site is storing personal details and writes, quote, this process in itself contradicts all of prior cms statements. this was written before the launch. can you assure us that whatever concerns there were about the personal identifiable information, the pii, that we were told would not be on the hub of healthcare.gov, that all that was worked out and none of this personal information can be assessed through the computer, through computers, through the internet? >> that's exactly right, jake. there's no pii on the federal data hub. the federal data hub is basically a conduit that's used basically to determine eligibility and basically see what kind of subsidi

and says the website with host 50,000 people at the same time. the obama administration also says the site is stable more than 90% of the time. healthcare.gov far from perfect. "the new york times" reports insurance companies are still not receiving all the information about individuals who sign up for coverage through the exchanges. and that creates a logistical nightmare for these guys. they need to track down that additional data and in some instances the insurance companies have no record that consumers signed up for coverage at all through the website. but former adviser to president obama david pluf insisted obama care will be viewed as a success even if it doesn't happen until after the president is out of office. >> this program was designed to be implemented by the states. in most of the states running our exchanges is going quite well. you talk about medicaid. i think it's just a fact that it may take until 2017 when this president leaves offs, you'll see almost every state running their own exchanges and expanding medicaid. i think it will work really well then. >> let's fast fo

? >> not perfect indeed, tyler. after five weeks of intensive work to try to get things up to speed, the obama administration says they cannot accommodate up to 800,000 users a today, 50 thousands at a time. if you go on healthcare.gov this morning, you will find yourself waiting in a queue. they do now, as part of their technical fix, have a queueing system that will hold your place in line and get back to you. nonetheless, the site overwhelmed as we entered the peak pertain for people who want to enroll before january 1st. at this clinic in philadelphia, the queue clinic, hakeem has been helping people sign up. he says it is night and day on the site. over the last few days, he says, it's been very smooth and he's been able to help people sign up online start to finish and for a time has felt like he's making progress. >> it tax like two minutes to get the results. this is what ear eligible for, would you like to enroll, and choosing a pair, some plans and premiums. it works very well now. so it's exciting that people can come in and in like, half an hour, find insurance. it's rewarting. >>

the page on obama care. today the president will kick off a new three-week campaign to refocus the public's attention to the positive aspects of the health care law. senior administration officials tell politico the white house will target different benefits of the law each day leading up to the december 23rd deadline to receive coverage by the beginning of the new year. roughly 100,000 people signed up for health insurance through the federal exchange last month. of course, up from the under 27,000 who successfully signed up for coverage in the month of october. meanwhile, the white house picked up a key legal victory yesterday as the supreme court said it would not hear a case challenging the law's employer mandate. however, a new poll shows one key group president obama was hoping would sign up for coverage, the so-called young invincibles, is the least informed about the law. gallup finds just 63% of adults under the age of 30 say they are familiar with the law. that's at least nine points lower than any other group, suggesting the white house, well, they've got a little bit of work t
